Notice for Patients Who Are Not Proficient in Japanese

For the safety and accuracy of our medical care, we kindly ask that any patient who is not able to communicate comfortably in Japanese be accompanied by an interpreter.

We understand that some patients may say they “speak Japanese,” even if they can only use simple phrases.

To prevent any misunderstandings during the consultation, please be accompanied by someone who can understand medical terminology in Japanese.

We are unable to provide medical treatment using translation apps, as they may lead to misunderstandings during diagnosis and treatment.

中には、簡単な日本語しか話せない場合でも「日本語が話せます」とおっしゃる方がいらっしゃいます。
